What is it about polka dots that I love so much? It’s hard to decide. I think it must be the way they remind me of classic, vintage style. I love all things vintage, so I am absolutely loving this polka dot revival. My favorite thing about this season’s polka trend is the way people are pairing polka dot pieces with other polka dot pieces. My look below is two separate pieces, that I paired together.  Polka dots are an incredibly versatile print, and they can be worn in all seasons, making them a smart buy as well as a fashionable one.

Fun fact: Polka dots originated from the Czech dance the Polka!

The top is a bodysuit from Shein.com and the pants are also from that online store. I was crushing on this polka dot look from Lisa Marie Fernandez (but not crushing on that price), and stumbled upon this one as I was doing research for my Shein shoe post (read here)! Can you tell that I have trouble staying focused when shopping? I have now worn both pieces multiple times and was surprised by the quality considering the price. Additionally, I found both the bodysuit and the pants on other sites for considerably more money.

The belt bag is probably my favorite accessory of the summer. I added it to give the outfit a pop of color and make the look a bit less monotonous. Belt bags are amazing, so functional and freeing! It’s fantastic to not have to carry a purse. After wearing this one for one day, I immediately bought another one.

Never one to be too matchy, I paired this look with floral mules that I purchased last year from ASOS. I love it when a good trend stays around for multiple seasons, and mules are definitely here for spring/summer (and fall!). By pure luck, white shoes are huge this season too! The earrings are also from Zara. When I see a good pair of statement earrings, I always snag them, and patiently wait for the perfect moment or outfit to wear them. This time I lucked up big.
