In the summer of 2016 my friends and I took a trip to Nice, St.Tropez, Amsterdam, Belgium, and London (I know it was a packed trip). My best friend Shauna (see her wedding here) is essentially an unofficial travel “itinerary expert” and planned the trip to perfection. It was this trip where we all realized how much of a difference being well-planned makes on the overall travel experience. Shauna created a perfect itinerary that had us eating, drinking, and partying in all the best places.

Saint Tropez

St. Tropez is beautiful, glamorous, and expensive. We lived our best rich lady lives enjoying the private beach clubs and eating lavish dinners that ALWAYS included live entertainment. Below are a few memories from our trip to St. Tropez. Linked in this post are all the places we beached, roamed, and ate.

I. Nikki Beach Club

Nikki beach club is an international brand with clubs all over the world. The beach club is a short walk from the beach but not directly on the beach as many of the other beach clubs are. The food is delicious, and it turns into a full pool part by late afternoon (think Vegas). We had so much fun partying there the first day we ended up going back the next day as well.

II. Villa Romana

Villa Romana is a St. Tropez staple frequented by locals and celebrities alike. This is a dining experience to remember and unlike any I had ever had before. Throughout the meal the staff puts on interactive performance that often include costumes for guest to wear and roles for them to play. There is a lot of eating, drinking, singing, and dancing on tables.

III. Beach Club Les Palmiers Ramatuelle

This beach club was a dream. It’s a private beach club which provided us with excellent service while we lounged (our cups were never empty). The food was fresh, the music was good, and it provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing and connecting with friends.

IV. L’Opera

L’Opera provided another dining experience that stimulated all of our senses. The restaurant decor is stunning ( see the website linked below), chandeliers and floral arrangements all around, with raised stages throughout the venue. Once again we were treated to frequent and unexpected live entertainment throughout dinner. Dancers, acrobats, and singers all graced the stage at various points during our meal making this one of the highlights of the trip. It’s a dining experience everyone shout have.

Where we ate: L’Opera

V. Boat Day

After two full days of beaching, eating, and partying, this day on the boat was everything we needed to recover and appreciate the beauty of the French Rivera

VI. Final Night

The last night we got all dressed up (no surprise there) and ate at a delicious local Indian restaurant.

VII. One day in Nice…

Our flight to Amsterdam left from Nice, France giving us one day in this picturesque city. We stopped at a few key places (see below), but also gave ourselves time to just wander the adorable city.
