Neon, zebra, leopard, polka dots, and pink: An unexpected meeting of prints and colors that someone worked to make a bold summer look.

I found this neon green skirt in Zara at the beginning of the spring and knew it was going to be a summer staple. Initially, I was attracted to the color, but after trying it on I was sold by the satin fabric that beautifully draped around the body.

I love mixing different prints together so when I saw the zebra and leopard print combination on these shoes, along with the bright pink accents and trendy pointed front, I felt confident they would be a great shoe for the summer. When I tried them on with my Zara skirt I appreciated how the neon green and pink ‘popped’ while the prints provided subtle accents.

This revolve crop top is one of my most loved purchases of the summer. Polka dots is one of my favorite prints (see here), and this top represented a unique design twist on a favorite old trend.

We were able to shot this look in two different locations (and randomly came across two walls that matched my outfit). The photographer and I liked how the different lighting brought out different hues in the neon skirt.
